I think those are all the things I did, to try to start the game up. If I close the launcher, and just open the PlayGTAV, I then cannot just open the launcher to get that message unless i delete both and do a repair install again. GTA Closes, and the launcher just keeps telling me the same R* is unavailable message. If I run the PlayGTAV exe while the launcher is open, the splash screen comes out with a loading green bar, it loads and again, asks for patch permission. Though, it says "The Rockstar Game Services are unavailable. If I delete the launcher and playgtav exe, and run the setup tool and do a repair, it reinstalls those two exe's. It then says "Game executable path not found. I delete the launcher again, run PlayGTAV, same things happens, except this time, I click no. I click yes, it closes, and nothing happens. I delete the launcher, run PlayGTAV again, and this time the splash screen comes up and a green bar loads underneath, and it says "Patch is requesting your permission". Update (11/13/21) - Rockstar Support on Twitter has confirmed that 'the Rockstar Games Launcher is now online, but GTA: The Trilogy The Definitive Edition. When I run "GTAVLauncher.exe", a spinning circles comes up for one second, and then nothing happens. When i run "PlayGTAV.exe", the splash screen comes up for not even a second, and then closes. As of this writing, the Rockstar Games Launcher is still showing red across the board for authentication, store access, cloud services and downloads. Rockstar Games has a service status page on its website with information for its games across consoles and PCs. How to check the Rockstar Games Launcher's status PCG has contacted Rockstar for comment, and will update with any response. The fact that the whole launcher is down means this is also affecting players across Rockstar's games. Patience and understanding? On the internet?
